ABOUT

Jim Horwat is a pop artist with an affinity for line. His artwork is filled with both complex details as well as a fresh sense of humor, deriving his inspiration from the juxtapositions found within the world around him. Influenced by the styles and designs of ‘80s pop culture, as well as the gritty urban scenes of his life in Philadelphia; his artwork often exposes the lighter side of everyday reality. In 2007 Jim embarked on two cross-country tours across the U.S. with the non-profit Big Art Show group— a life changing experience, where art was shown, shared and exchanged freely. Jim enjoys being an active participant in the thriving Philadelphia art scene. You can find his work featured online in a myriad of blogs and websites devoted to pop culture and cinema. Jim is grateful for those who admire his artwork both near and far and have supported his passion.
